Volunteer with Kings Water Alliance
Help Central Valley Communities Access Safe Drinking Water
Kings Water Alliance (KWA) is dedicated to providing safe drinking water to residents impacted by unsafe levels of nitrate in their drinking water. Volunteers play a crucial role in building awareness and assisting rural communities in accessing KWA’s resources, such as free well testing and bottled water deliveries for those who are eligible.
Join a team working to ensure everyone has access to safe drinking water. Flexible scheduling and training make it easy for anyone to contribute. If you are a student or student group looking to volunteer for course credit or graduation requirements, KWA can sign off and approve your hours.

Volunteer Opportunities
All volunteers receive outreach training through an orientation session and are equipped with the necessary materials, including a Kings Water Alliance-branded hat. Volunteers can commit to as many or as few events as they would like. As a Volunteer with KWA, you get hands on experience working directly with people in the community.
Event Outreach: Attend local food banks, farmers’ markets, and swap meets to distribute flyers and assist residents in signing up for well testing and bottled water services.
Community Advocacy: Engage with residents to share information and educate people about nitrate-contaminated water and the resources available. Many people in the Central Valley do not know about the nitrate issue.
