Volunteer with Kings Water Alliance (training & informative session)

September 19 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Free

Do you want to help people get access to safe drinking water?

Join us on Thursday, September 19 at Fresno State (Thomas Building, Room 117) for a volunteer orientation to find out if volunteering with Kings Water Alliance is for you! We are a non-profit organization that helps people with residential wells with free well water testing. In many areas of the Central Valley, 50% of residential wells could have unsafe levels of nitrates in their water. The only way to find out is to test the well water. If test results show levels of Nitrates that are above a certain threshold, those households are eligible for free bottled water delivery (every 2 weeks).

We are looking for volunteers to help us spread the word and reach people who rely on wells for their drinking water.

What you will get to do:

  • Educate residents about our free resources
  • Gain outreach & marketing experience
  • Attend food banks, resource fairs, and other events
RSVP*

*RSVP is optional and will only be used to send you a reminder email before the event. Feel free to attend without submitting an RSVP
